  3. Well where do i start ?
This was my first show from this tour and the first tour where i've pericsoped fairly regularly and knew beforehand what to expect. Whilst sat on the train i said to my wife it's the first time in 30 years of seeing U2 that i'm not feeling excited before the show. As i said years ago i had to wait to see bootlegs cassettes/cd's at record fairs to see what the setlist looked liked.
Anyway, when arriving into the south side of the G.A's we stood right next to the barrier of the red zone and we were right in the centre of the the screen. Once Bono came out and they got going with Joey i was then in the gig mood. But, as soon as Control started i knew it was going to be a great night. That was goose bump number 1 moment for me. Then to see the screen working in context of the show (narration e.t.c) it got better with each song. The sound above our heads was in mono and could explain why some people have said Streets and some other songs lack power on this tour. I did notice that the irish news radio DJ samples did bounce around from left to right though. I'm sure Popmart was the same if i remember correctly.
Then to finish off with Noel (who i told i'll be seeing you in Bournemouth next April when he was stood behind me in the Red Zone) and the energy of Found was a special way to end the night.
Last nights gig helped me remember why i still love seeing U2 live and always leave thinking they never disappoint . Roll on next Tuesday :-)
  4. Remy, Tim, was a pleasure again to see you guys, keep up the good work! See you next year hopefully

Too bad you didn't like Iris and Even Better though... But indeed, different experience in the seats or at the back of GA.

I didn't dislike Even Better. It just didn't touch me. But it was a very long day and I was close to exhausted so who knows if that played a part.

I'll be in Better shape for Belfast. I can't muster anything nice for Iris. It stops the show in its tracks and isn't strong enough to justify it. Nice visuals st least and Larry and Adam do very well during it.
  8. I'll be happy to cut it in seperate tracks... (wouldn't that be more convinient than 1 single file?)

Thanks for recording + sharing here
Do you want to Joyce? That'd be great.
