2015-10-25 - London
Tour: Innocence and Experience tour
Songs played: 26
Audio recordings: 1
  1. was at the show .. my 6th .. brilliant, briliant, the best yet. Encores have previously been weak, especially variable crowd singing to One, but this encore was mind blowing . Bad my all time fav song, then briliant live performance of People Have the Power. What as privilege to be there.
  2. Just back
  3. First I + E .... mmmm....great to hear Bad again. Fantastic visuals and staging, very imaginative. Good crowd...'small' venue (14 years since I last saw them indoors) but that made it too loud..

  4. ...and great to hear Gloria again, not sure when I saw it last...1984 ?
  5. I have a special skill for missing the most exciting European setlist parties
  6. ooft, just checked...probably was 84...almost 31 years to the day. Gloria at the Barrowlands.
    .
  7. Ok, When Tomorrow Comes...it's here salready so we shall see what happens in th GA maelstrom
  8. I'll post a full-on ramble at the weekend likely, but my God. Let's just get my 'firsts' out of the way. Gloria, New Year's Day, and Bad. Simply amazing. Then the surprise. When Pattin came out and dos something during Bad, I thought "what a waste", then Edge grabbed another guitar and Larry started People Have The Power...speechless. I'm not even a huge Patti Smith fan, but this was by far the best guest. Songs that we like to hate were also excellent. I moved to the e-stage during the intermission and was stuck with a nice set of fans. We sang our hearts out from Real Thing until the end. Yes, even Elevation, Pride, and Blinding Lights. So much joy at the tip of the e-stage.

Bono sounded flawless tonight. He nailed Gloria, nailed Every Breaking Wave, nailed October, nailed Bullet The Blue Sky, nailed Bad, and that's just off the top of my head. He had so much power tonight. London 1&2 surprised me in parts, but he blew those out of the water.

    Incredible, unforgettable night.
