Then the surprise. When Pattin came out and dos something during Bad, I thought "what a waste", then Edge grabbed another guitar and Larry started People Have The Power...speechless. I'm not even a huge Patti Smith fan, but this was by far the best guest. Songs that we like to hate were also excellent. I moved to the e-stage during the intermission and was stuck with a nice set of fans. We sang our hearts out from Real Thing until the end. Yes, even Elevation, Pride, and Blinding Lights. So much joy at the tip of the e-stage.

Bono sounded flawless tonight. He nailed Gloria, nailed Every Breaking Wave, nailed October, nailed Bullet The Blue Sky, nailed Bad, and that's just off the top of my head. He had so much power tonight. London 1&2 surprised me in parts, but he blew those out of the water.

    Incredible, unforgettable night.

  4. Wow just watched Gloria, NYD and People have the power. Looks amazing !!
  5. So glad for the u2starters and general fans who attended London 3...After reading several posts, I can imagine it was a really f**ing special night for everybody

Can't wait for the iem recording now!
  6. what a amazing setlist on London 3! expect the shitty one on today's show...

  7. They even coloured the sky over the O2 for the occasion
  8. This Patti Smith video is awesome. The ending of Bad is just goosebumps.

  9. There are also reports that An Cat Dubh was rehearsed yesterday.
  10. Due to travelling arrangements I won't be able to get to the stadium until 16:00 London local time today. Any advice on which spot to go for under these circumstances? My preferences are quit similar to Remys golden throne.

With 4pm you will still have a great spot near the e-stage, second row possibly. If you like e-stage as much as I do just stand near the cordon where Bono comes up, during The Miracle they lift it and then try to squeeze you're way into the first row tip of the e-stage.
