1. That dolby atmos looks pretty nifty...up to 128 channels!
  2. So, you could pretty much make a mix where every show of the tour gets stereo at the same time? Listening to just one show is so old. These days you gotta multitask to survive.
  3. There's a couple shows from 2005 where I have 5 stereo IEM feeds + Bono's Wireless Microphone plus 3 high end audience recordings.

Run all sorts of crazy splits and crossover for a super lunatic mix!
  4. The Halloween mix? Everything swirling around between the channels with some extra amplified audience screamers every once in a while?

Has anyone ever uploaded a feed from Bono's mic? It'd be interesting to hear. Probably not for an entire gig, but maybe for a song. I have a faint recollection of listening to a sample once, but I don't remember more than that. Maybe it wasn't that interesting
  5. I think I've uploaded clips before from Bono's mic, but not a full show. It's actually very handy when doing a mix, but not so much individually.

I understand you though never have seen such interest in a particular recording

"freaking out" is my East Tennessee, somewhat hyperbolic slang , don't mind me haha
  7. Gonna listen to some of this later
  8. Better make sure you have a 5.1 audio setup!

Or maybe somebody can take the 5.1 mix and downmix it to a stereo matrix. (ha ha)

It was probably something you uploaded that I vaguely remember hearing a bit of!

Yeah, an entire show with Bono's voice only would probably not be something anyone would want to listen to. I imagine it must also sound very dry and somewhat unnatural without any post-processing?
  10. Yes, it's really only good for a mix. But would be really nice for something like a decent 5.1 mix.
