    Not much use in a taper holding back a recording if there's no guarantee that others won't share theirs when the tour finishes.

  5. Don't get me wrong, I love that you shared this and I'm torrenting it now!! I just thought hoserama made a decent point about that the band may start throwing countermeasures at you tapers if a lot of IEMs are released during the tour. I hope this is the first IEM recording of many to come

  7. Coggster, as I told you previously: ignore the unconstructive critics. Logical criticism is right, and so is the non-sharing recommendations, but don't let the critics let you down and prevent you form sharing anything else in the future. As a taper myself (not IEM though), I have found that other's critics are less useful than your own cricitism; the best way to improve your recordings is analyzing them yourself and think what could be done in a different way. Then get on it, keep sharing and keep improving.

  8. If you're going to be a critic about someone's taping, you better start doing it constructively. Otherwise you're just pissing in the wind, really.
  9. all this nonsense about U2 caring for their feeds to be recorded. I highly doubt that. a couple hundred downloads from hardcore fans so what? as if they would increase security or do counter measures because of that
  10. I wish they would get pissed like Pearl Jam and finally start releasing live shows like they have hinted or promised for three tours!!
    It's crazy to me that we haven't had a live stream on u2.com for subscribers.

  12. Sorry if bringing up scanner vs receiver caused some issues...and U2 could certainly make it harder on any kind of taping if they wanted to. I think keeping things more under wraps makes things easier on those that do tape.
