1. Im looking for a bit of honesty here. have any of you guys downloaded any u2 albums/singles/dvds ''unofficially''. i myself must confess to being guilty of downloading 3 albums and most of their singles in an unofficial manner. but i have spent a fortune buying u2 stuff over the years and there were times when i just couldn't afford to buy their cd's so i d'loaded them. however im still going to pay for the new album - definately, but how many of you are? C'mon now be honest...
  2. hello there robbie. interesting moral question there. ive only ever got dvd rips illegally but since i already owned the dvds my conscience is clean. (posted from my psp)

oh yeah. i d'loaded some dvdrips as well, but like yourself i have all the dvds anyway.
  4. I have all singles, b-sides complete, almost all downloaded (it's nearly impossible to get it all in desirable quality and file format). I have almost all albums legal, though downloaded first. DVD's the same.
  5. With U2 merchandise I purchase and have purchased everything officially. With some other artists that I may have just a passing interest in, I have had some of my friends who are not on dial up download some official stuff. But I probably wouldnt have purchased those items anyway if I had to pay for them.
  6. Nice question!!!
justa as Gerard said.... everything I have from U2 is official, I haven't downloaded anything illegally.... only a few dvdripps, but I own the dvds.... clear concience... I only downloaded 2 albums that couldn't be found here in Argentina, since they were never released here!!
but taking that aside, all my material is legal!
    cheers!
  7. As for me, I bought 90% of my music. All I downloaded was some obscure stuff that is out of print, like some collaborations and stuff.
I am guilty of spreading some Promos, though.
  8. All my U2 albums and Go Home DVD are from Ukraine...but they look like originals And they didn't cost much
  9. Nice topic!

I think I illegally dowloaded one album from U2 (Unreleased & Rare), because it wasnt possibile to download it apart from The Complete U2. My U2 collection is not fully complete (only miss a few singles like Pride), but I bought it all on Itunes or in the music shops. (Also DVD's)
  10. i've downloaded some rare...very rare clips but thats about it.
  11. Well, I own all the singles because I bought the complete U2. I've only downloaded out of print or hard to find stuff, like the 40 / Two Hearts Beat As One single, or the In God's Country single. But I bought all the albums / DVDs, etc.
  12. All of my singles and most of albums, except of Joshua Tree and HTDAAB are downloaded illegally. But I´ve bought JT Limited Edition normally in the store and I realised that I enjoy it a lot more than If I had downloaded it. So I´ll buy new album legally for sure and I don´t count itunes because it´s not aviable in Slovakia
