  1. Likewise - thought I had messed up but I checked back again against the O2 plan. Their layout shows the e stage as the stage, rather than the i stage. So I thought I would be looking straight ahead at the main stage (i.e. from the front).

Anyway the view from behind was excellent and we were no more than 6-7metres away.

Also a note for GA people - bet you enjoyed it! Last night there were no more than 6-7 rows around the e stage, and no one was more than maybe 20m from the main stage from the sides.

Yep I was on the very periphery of the floor at London 4 but was still only about 15m from the stage...great setup
  3. Originally posted by iTim:London has been an unforgettable experience. I've met many great fans over the six nights - too many to mention here. Also had my run-ins with some unpleasant fans (mainly Americans, I'm afraid) but we won't dwell on that. There were highlights across all of the nights for me. From hearing songs such as All I Want Is You, Bad, Gloria, and Out of Control for the first time, to the Noel Gallagher and Patti Smith guest appearances. Every night there was something new for me to hear or see and I really wasn't expecting that. The only letdown I suppose was the atmosphere in the seats. It was great to finally see the screen in all its glory, but the energy was dead.

It was also a pleasure to fly the flag for U2start in London. I had plenty of fans walk up to me and say hi and tell me how much they appreciate the efforts of our crew and how much they enjoy being part of the community which is nice. All in all, it's been a great 10 days. I would happily rewind and do it all over again.

I'll answer the questions that we missed on last nights Periscope soon.

Glad you enjoyed the London shows. We all knew they would be fantastic , and they indeed were ....wish I could have crossed the pond this tour , maybe next time . My fellow Americans , like myself , can be a bit much, to say the least at times lol

Adding to my misery Noel showed up…only thing worse would have been if the Modfather Paul Weller himself showed up....then I might have "lost the plot" as you Brits say lol

Met some great American fans at London 3 and 4. (and at Moncton on the last date of 360)..don't apologise !
  5. During which song did a fan threw beer at Bono?
  6. Actually it was at the start of UTEOTW, you can see it in the left of this video, at the start. Not the best clip but you can see it.

  7. In fairness, he does chuck water over the crowd during The Electric Co. Maybe a mad fan that was angry by getting sprayed.
  8. I just noticed something....we did NOT get Stuck In a Moment!!!! 6 nights in London and no stuck!!! Fantastic That's my highlight of the whole London residency
  9. If it was during UTEOTW's mad intro & main riff then I forgive them.
    (seriously)
