  2. I have a feeling there'll be something special about these gigs, maybe one or two new/not many played songs this tour.
  3. Don't worry about long GA queues... We walked in at about 7pm and were 3 back from the e stage at the O2. The rails are massive.
  4. For those who have been in the seats, what's a good time to turn up?
  5. I've had seats on three nights now and I have never been later than 8-ish or earlier than 7.30 (I think) in my seat and that felt OK. I also like to chat with people around me and that hour before the show starts is good time for that.
    But I also saw people coming to their seats during PHTP ...
  6. If they start at 20:30, turn up between 20:00 and 20:15. There's need to be early unless you enjoy watching arenas fill while listening to the pre-show music. I got there at 20:00 for London 5 and felt it was too early

    Just make sure you're in your seat before People Have The Power
  7. I saw people coming to their seats halfway through The Miracle, so yeah
  8. 5 seconds before People Have The Power.

    People chatting around you won't let you hear the DJ selection over the PA anyway, so showing up before that is a waste of time imho

    Barrowlands is the best venue ever!

    But tomorrow and Saturday. I can't wait for them! The shows will be epic. I've been contacted by Remy regarding a fan interview, which I said I'd be more than happy to do on either night!

    Really can't wait. I've waited 15 years for it. Will be fantastic. Truly fantastic!

    I think there will be quite a few there from 31 years ago who have kept the faith.

    Did you see the Simple Minds at New Year 1985 Barrowlands in when Bono came fire New Gold Dream ?

    That was probably my favourite moment there... The roof almost came off !

    Although show will start 20:30, as mentioned before. Otherwise it would be the first 3-hour show this tour
