  3. WWE Wrestling had a gig there tonight that's just finished. They're currently loading out.

Really looking forward to Saturday (sadly it was too pricey to do both).

It's quite a special U2 connection in our family. I won the competition in the fan club in Sept 2006 to meet them at the launch of the U2 by U2 book launch at waterstones, Piccadilly London.

Having been notified via email at 2200hrs the night before I went straight to get the overnight train from Holyhead. Went to a hidden location to pickup a wristband. Waiting in line I got chatting to someone.

Having met yer man Bono and the boys and receive signed stuff, the woman I was chatting to got in touch the next day. We started dating two months later. Since then I moved to Scotland and we married last year. Hard to believe that was nine years ago!

Fantastic story...congrats, that is the best prize ever !
  7. Thanks folks. It's always special when a band plays Glasgow, there's never a gig that is less than brilliant.

I'd LOVE them to do a full blown Crystal Ballroom on the main stage that goes into a rocking Discotheque like on the Vertigo tour. Dreaming out loud.

I'm guessing Bono will talk about how indentical the Crystal Ballroom and Barrowlands Ballroom are/were and how important they both were to the band.

    Edd

  8. On my way!
  9. 12 hours to go! Countdown is really on now!
  10. There is a little confusion at the Hydro GA. It seems people either received an email saying go to East entrance or West entrance (unless you have a seat then you go to South entrance). So there are 2 GA lines then. I am betting they end up entering as North / South U2 stage sides. This would make sense because the stage seems to totally fill this smaller GA floor. I bet each side needs its own entrance / exit for safety. So best to just go where directed in the email I suppose. But as usual veteran fans are numbering and running the lines. They should have it sorted out soon.
