Its more expensive to run a tour in Europe - the US has states - the EU has countries - think logisticsi - Kicking off the tour in the US is the deposit for the colossal movement of stages/personnel in Europe (US = road trip/Europe = Shipping/Air-cargo etc.They need cash in the bank to set off the travelling Then back to the US for the big boy concerts etc.!
