But cancelling more shows feels like a bit too much indeed.
One date in Turin tonight and another after the two in France. So four dates in total.
  2. I would totally understand if some, most or any bands cancelled all of their Parisien/French/European shows. I'm sure U2 have considered cancelling/postponing Belfast and Dublin too. I mean, from a purely businness/artistic point of view, cancelling shows besides the obvious ones might be "too much",,, but from a feeling standpoint? What happened last night could happen at any given moment, venue and city... It's not only scary, also saddening. I'm sure it will be tough for any band that was playing Paris in these days to get up on any other stage shortly. Total respect for the Foo's here.
  3. The band have to consider the risk posed to all of their crew and fans as well as their own feelings. I also imagine the insurers for these tours are also quite nervous about shows going ahead in uncertain times. A lot of these decisions could well be against the wishes of the band themselves.
  4. It's a very difficult situation all round. But I'd say they would do absolutely everything in their power to fulfill any and all shows
  5. I have just downloaded wednesday show and listening streets gives me shivers
  6. Bullshit to cancel shows.. In France, okay, but not the rest of the world. Coldplay is even canceling LA?
  7. It is for respect, man. Now it is not time to celebrate.
  8. What if your crew have concerns about travelling. What if a family member of your tour manager was caught up in the attack. We don't have enough information to judge.
  9. I don't think these terrorist should ruin every celebration in the world, if U2 played some other city tonight and was planning to film it, they wouldn't cancel it.

it all depends... fear is a caustic wave we all can drown in.
  11. Staying away from all news on the subject, especially concerning U2. Nothing but hate and ignorance in every comment section I've seen, sad and pathetic.
