Joshua Tree Tour 2017
Legs (3): Leg 1 - North America, Leg 2 - Europe, Leg 3 - The Americas
Shows: 52
  1. Don't think so, they will probably only go to cities that they haven't visited on the first 2 legs.
  2. hope they're announcing the dates soon, so I can plan my holidays around them
  3. Yeah that is the most likely scenario.

Cities like Lisbon, Moscow and Hamburg seem already 99% sure for next leg given the many rumours.
  4. As it is very likely that the tickets for 2016 will go on sale within a couple of weeks, I have a question about a multiple U2 fanclub membership and the pre-sale, since I am sure a lot of people have an experience with that from the last year :-).

I have one membership, but to be safe on getting tickets for more shows I am thinking about getting another one. Now: is it possible to have 2 memberships with the same name, address and paid with 1 card (only with different login name)? If not, is it possible to have 2 memberships for 2 different people, but paid with 1 card (If I make my wife (the same address) a member and pay with my card)? Is it safe to buy pre-sale tickets with multiple memberships paid from one card? Don't they get canceled?

    In order:

    1) No (or well it might be possible but I would advice against it, option 2 is safer and easier to explain if it comes up)
    2) Yes
    3) Yes that's fine
  6. Thanks Remy! Okay, I will make my wife a member (what a Christmas present it would be - she would be...surprised, ha, ha) and I will have 2 codes. And now about the actual ticket purchase, just to make it absolutely clear: Suppose I will be buying paperless standing tickets again - I will need them in my phone and I would be showing my ID at the entrance of the venue of course in the case I might be asked for it - is it all right to put my name and phone number when I purchase the tickets (not my wife's when I would be using her code)? This way I will have 2 codes for 2 people, but it would be obvious that 1 person was buying the tickets. Again - won't they be canceled? I suppose not, but I better ask.

    That's fine.

But do note that for paperless often there are limits you can buy per creditcard. Eg for the Ireland shows you could only buy 2 tickets per show per creditcard. You have to check in advance what the rules will be.

But yeah don't make the mistake of putting the tickets on your wife's creditcard, put them on yours.
  8. Thanks Remy! The credit card limit won't be a problem, I would be buying only tickets for myself for more shows, with one exception - if they by any chance visited Prague, I would take my wife, that would really be a killer Christmas present for her - she likes U2 a lot, but won't travel far, since with little kids it is difficult to arrange the logistics :-) Anyway, thanks for all the advices!
  9. The bands plane was spotted in St. Petersburg last week, most likely to check a venue.
  10. Would be great if they tour in Asia...
  11. Please play Japan again
  12. Lets hope they will play One at every concert again!
