1. This was a "fall-back" tape. Footage mixed with the idea that most likely no-one was ever going to see it. It was all "just in case."

I don't know when this feed was intercepted, but it is likely that it was done before the horrible terroist attacks.
  2. My guess on the origin of this "broadcast" is, that it is a backup - in case of technical issues during or before the live broadcast, even if there would have been a three hours gap between the show and the HBO broadcast on Saturday. Therefore the "technical issues" statement at the beginning.

This backup/rough cut was sent via Satellite across the ocean to HBO in the US, maybe on Friday/Saturday - and somebody grabbed that feed. It happened before with the Stones broadcast from Glastonbury 2013, which was not broadcast live (except for about 9 songs), but grabbed from the satellite transmission.
  3. someone is making a DVD9 version
  4. Watching it now, have to agree with most of what has already been said here! Image quality is stunning, but Bono's voice is really a mess throughout..

  8. So I'm getting this now, very good connection at uni, should be 2 hours from now
  9. If you can get it in those 2-6 hour times then I'd go for it, if you're waiting near 24 hours (like I did) it won't live up to the hype.
  10. there's a audio out there
