I expect MLK or maybe Peace On Earth.

I was in Paris2 last week and also there in 1997 for POP (at Parc des Princes). It was the day of Diana's funeral, she having being killed in a car crash in Paris exactly a week before. They did MLK and flashed up Warhol-esque images of her.

I don't even know if the whole Raised By Wolves ending car bomb is appropriate anymore although of course directly relevant to Ireland/N.Ireland so sure thet wil do it at the ppanned remaining cities. They certainly could not do that at re-arranged Paris gigs which wil be very special but I wil be surprised if they happen on this leg.

I was thinking of Please? They played it after 9/11
  2. Full band please then.
  3. There's a possibility for Walk On somewhere, I'd say. Along with MLK.
  4. I thought seurity at O2 and Bercy was reasonably high. They checked all bags on my 3 nights.

Interestingly I thought security was high in Paris generally, even with armed soldiers, and many of them, on the Metro. Same with a lot of Police around. This was last Thursday, shame they were not able to do more...it is so much down to luck, bad or otherwise.
  5. Walk On is a really good call but maybe too much Production needed... then again simple is probably best, it was great after 9/11.

U2 are always by chance, whenever they are touring (I have learned by experience) at the heart of big events...Sarajevo, Diana, 9/11, 7/7, Norway. By no means equivalent things but major news. I was only saying in Paris last week that I wondered what might happen since it always seems to....No we know but I wish it never had.
  6. Walk On got the acoustic treatment on Vertigo. Would be easy to do again.

I'm really hoping for Please in some form.

I don't know what to expect really. Tomorrow is set to be one of the more interesting shows of the tour.
  7. my pilgrimage to Belfast 2 starts tomorrow evening so won't be able to keep up with the updates for the first show - gonna keep myself spoiler-free for any changes i reckon.

hoping for please or peace on earth especially, but as i haven't I+E'd yet a standard show would still suit me fine!
