  1. Funny, I saw Bono run over to Dallas during the end of Beautiful Day and it looked like he said something like "We'll play Bad!" and Dallas went and get the appropriate guitar. I was only speculating but was oddly confident with my lip reading skills. Just reading U2gigs report and it confirms that Still Haven't Found was on the printed setlist, but Bad and 40 were played instead.

Can anyone think of a reason? Maybe he felt his voice was up for it more than expected? Assuming he feels Bad is the harder song to sing.

Always an unknown. Might have been that they were finishing up too early so replaced one song with 2 so they could play right up to 11 O'clock. They were on stage at 8:35 and would have been finished at 10:50 without playing Bad&40.

Or I'm sure there are occasions where they just feel up fkr something a bit more exciting.

ISHFWILF was indeed on the printed setlist...

Glad to see some last minute changes still

Timing is a good shout, they finished bang on 11 like clockwork. Glad he saw fit to play it, although I would have been ok with Still Haven't Found. Nice to see they're flexible too, within reason.

He did the same in other shows, for instance Cologne 2's setlist had Still Haven't Found OR Bad on it.

I guess it has to do with the atmosphere that night, if it's a great electric show it feels more appropriate to the band to end with Bad/40 instead of Still Haven't Found which is more a mainstream crowd pleaser.

  6. Really love that "e" in the middle of the catwalk...

Not sorry I don't get to see it the next two nights
  7. Just starting work. Wrecked tired & no voice left but looking forward to doing it all again at the weekend :-)
  8. Bad and 40?
  9. It's worth it.

Yeah - at the end of WOWY a couple of people on the tier held up a fairly large banner saying 'Bad'. Think they were still holding it up during the encore. The band did a fairly long bow to end the set, no doubt saw it (it looked like it took 3-4 people to hold it up) and might've discussed changing it during the Stephen Hawking talk.

Could have just decided it would be a better ending for the night that it was without having seen it to be fair.

Somebody should do an Acrobat or Pop banner then
