1. I like it
  2. Sorry Alex, but I had to dig this back up.

People know how often Jimmy Fallon hosts U2 on his various shows, so it's a very special moment for U2 to host Jimmy Fallon on one of their shows.
I think Europe did ok, considering.
  3. Time to stop the timer on the OP
  4. Bono said "note" or something like that in multiple shows, anyone know what that means?
You can see it here at 1:31

    And here at 2:10
  5. Funny that you do this because I was actually just about to dredge this up myself to comment on how terribly incorrect that statement is now.

Europe had a very good showing, albeit with a somewhat predictable set for most of the leg. What the North American leg had in variety, I believe the European leg more than made for it in terms of strong performances. I think most of us would agree that the highlight of the tour has to be these last few Paris shows. While nobody would ever wish for disaster to strike in the way it did, it is undeniable that U2 has a way of reaching out to people in the midst of their hurting. The Super Bowl halftime performance post 9/11 immediately comes to mind. I really liked that they also took time to dedicate songs to the victims of recent acts of violence all over the world.
  6. Can someone look up at the top 15 songs from the #U2request thing? I think they didn't play a single one of those songs.
  7. Acrobat
    A Sort Of Homecoming
    Exit
    So Cruel
    Please
    Lemon
Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses
    Gone
    Heartland
    Kite
    Bad
    Mofo

  8. Thanks! That confirms my theory (except for Bad, which was silly to request it, as it was going to be played anyway). You have to go to #17 Two Hearts Beat As One for an actual surprise in the tour.
