    Well the MKV is of course not 5.1 dolby digital, the original .ts contains double mono and 5.1 dolby E , 5.1 dolby E wont play without the wright hardware and it is unable to rip that 5.1 Dolby-E track of course without that proper hardware.
    So don't bother, the audio in the MKV is already lossy audio...


    We're not talking about the same thing. I have the .TS which has an .mp4 video and .mp3 audio track embedded (explains the junk audio quality). I don't have a version in an .mkv container.



    I'll just wait for one of the scenerippers to do a proper 5.1 release.

    I know but the original question was about the released MKV, and the .ts files have 2 other audio tracka but can't be played or converted because its Dolby-E audio track, check the info, audio 2 is the 5.1 audio track...

    Only the "intermission" wasn't broadcasted. In fact even the song by Eagles Of Death Metal was fully broadcasted.
