I don't think that's true... there were 7 new songs played at every single show in this tour, not counting all the rotational ones. Off course they will play the favorites of the public, the show is for the public after all, but they're playing too many "unsafe" songs in the show as is. Asking for more is being a bit greedy.

+1. It's more variation than a lot of tours, look at 360 and even Lovetown setlists. Besides, I think they are playing for the casual fans more so than hardcore ones.
