1. Happy new year all, in peoples opinion, Apart from the Dublin shows, what would you all think is the best sounding boot from the Lovetown tour???
  2. hi Remy, Cheers.i do trawl through them, I just wondered if anyone had any personal favorites or thoughts on any others too.
  3. Osaka isn't the greatest sound but it's a great show and is basically a backwards setlist
  4. Osaka is maybe my fav boot of U2 , but from lovetown there are a lot good

It depends if you like some special song ( for example Hawkmoon 269) or some snippets ( i prefer boots with Suspicius minds and/or with Midnight hour ) and setlists

If you like BB King during the show on 13/10/89 they played together Knockin' On Heaven's Door ( + the typical set)

Yokohama 23/11 is a very good show with very good sound too
Paris 12/12 was an awesome show but the sound is standard

Just to name some out of the classics " perfects" show/boots from Dublin and Rotterdam

Paris 2 has an updated source Pato, so the sound is great now.
To be honest, I don't understand the massive love for Osaka. Besides the reversed setlist, it pales in comparison with other shows.
Besides the ones mentioned already, I love the last 2 Dortmund shows. They have perhaps the best and most special New Year's Day you'll ever find, right in the middle of the fall of the Berlin wall.

For me is special because it was my first boot .

Without counting that you have :

    - Different setlist ( order)
    - lot of good snippets
    - Slow dancing
    -Van diemens land
-All songs were played with a lot of energy

I will check that Paris 2 new source , thank you Cesar
