Listening to the great Florence gig from June 8th 2003..a friend from this forum reminded me yesterday about how great this show was ...wow...
here is what BruceBase has to say about this gig...."Available on IEM/aud mix 'Nostro Anniversario' from JEMS/Ev2 - easily one of the best (if not the best) sounding recordings from the tour, with remarkable clarity and instrument separation"
Thanks for this info. Maybe you have a link to the Florence gig?
At the moment listening to The Reunion Tour, my favorite tour of Springsteen, 30 years of great music every concert. 88 diferent songs in year.
The audio favorites are known by most of the Springsteen fans, MSG 01-07/20-06, LA 23-10, all sounds like official releases. But the next bests like Hartford 08-05, Philly 25-09, Boston 22-08 are also very worthwhile to listen.
So I am curious of other tour favorites from U2start Springsteen fans.
Yeah I loved those MSG gigs..I went to the last show 07.01.00..I admit I was a bit turned off with the whole 41 shots stuff or I would have attended more of those shows , but I get it..... the reunion tour was indeed amazing...
The River Tour of 80/81 was insane...I first heard the River in 1980 , I was 14 and snatched my older sisters double lp.....and that was that....
Bruces site has a free dl from Tempe ,11.05.80.... 10 tunes
That show is insane...
...plus they have the infamous New Years gig (that my sister attended) in Long Island , 12.31.80...always been a favorite of mine..its available on bruce's site for a reasonable $10..
No news about European River tour yet.
Nils Lofgren has some solo gigs in april and may planned so maybe after these shows or they will just like the shows from January until March postponed after the ESB tour.
It is still guessing maybe when the first US shows are done that they announce something. Until that time it just stays by rumours
