1. Me and a buddie of mine record songs together. I sing, (and ocasionally play harmonica) he plays everything else. It gets far more acomplished than our actual band. We kinda sound like a three piece version(he tends not to add keyboards or rhythm parts) of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers with a nasally baritone lead. RTSS seems like a good choice.

Why not. Give it a try. Let us know.
  3. Van Dieman's land seems like a good one also. Maybe an acoustic version of ASOH. (Ihave a fetish for that song.)
  4. Red Hill Mining Town might be another good one.

A Sort of Homecoming, The Unforgettable Fire, Exit...three good ones. As well as Red Hill Mining Town.

And why not give In God's Country or God Part II a crack?
  8. Red Hill is good, but watch out, singing it hurts! (I think it made Bono lose his voice for a while every time he sang it, right?)
  9. Maybe Mofo or Big Girls Are Best. You don't need a voice in the least.

Or Elvis Presley and America...it's pretty much mumbling utter crap.
  10. In A Little While...it won't sound bare with just one guitar, bass and drums, and it's not that hard to sing.
  11. Well the problemn is he prefers to record origainals. I oughta post this one song I wrote that I tried to model a bit after BTBS. (Simmalar lyrical themes.) Also Red Hill has never been done Live.
