Manor have a Mercedes engine and I believe have some technology from Williams (suspension and gearbox) so hopefully they'll be more competitive this year. Manors 2015 car was effectively their 2014 car. Maldonado to Manor? I'm not so sure. Venezuela's economy is on the brink of collapse and I think funding Maldonado is the least of their priorities currently. I think Mercedes might put Pascal Wehrlein in one of the Manor seats. In my opinion, he needs a drive in Formula One.

    It will be an interesting season. I wonder if Ferrari can close the gap even further to Mercedes. Hopefully McLaren make a vast improvement over last season too. Not good seeing Alonso and Button at the back of the grid.


    Mmmm, I don't know about Haas. I think they wanted this relation with Ferrari to get a good start up in F1. I think they will be less of a B-team and more independent in 5 years, when they are succesfull (?) or at least I hope so I don't think Wehrlein will race in Manor however, I don't think Mercedes wants to spend so much money on his seat. I will be an interesting season indeed but I don't have high hopes on McLaren. The speculations of engine-improvements in the off-season always fade away when the season actually starts.

    @Kerstkaas I guess Haas just want to have the best start to F1 as possible. Gene has a lot of experience in the States and he knows what has happened with the three teams that entered in 2010 (only 1 remaining). Regarding Honda, there's been conflicting reports about the improvements they may or may have not made over the winter. One report I saw is claiming that they've gained 223bhp (I presume that those gains are mostly from the hybrid system) Others say that very little has improved. I guess we'll just have to see in Melbourne.

    Also, there's rumours that Renault will unveil their 2016 car along with their drivers and team personnel on Wednesday.

    The good news is that according to Renault, this is only an interim livery.



  12. I believe it's the E23, we'll see the new car in a few weeks. I do like the livery to be honest. To bad it wont work with other tires than softs
