1. U2 do the same. Initial dates then add more when demand is proven when the tickets go on sale.

Bruce doesn't do pre-sales, does he?
  3. U2 announces all cities at once, and then adds more dates. That's something different than to just announce two cities and then more later.
  4. Maybe the announcing of one by one has something to do because it's a last minute tour and that the planning is more difficult. Usually stadium shows are going in pre-sale in november / december now its almost 3 months later with more risk off not selling out.
In Holland is also a rumour that he will play in june at Malieveld in Den Haag and not at Pinkpop.

List of rumoured & confirmed shows:
    May 15: San Sebastian
    May 19: Lisbon (confirmed)
    May 28: Manchester
    May 30: Glasgow
    June 1: Dublin
    June 4: London
    June 6: London
    June 12: Landgraaf (Holland)
    June 23 – Munich
    June 24: Barcelona
    June 26: Madrid
    June 28: Berlin
    June 30: Cologne
    July 3: Milan (confirmed)
    July 7: Vienna
    July 13: Paris
    July 16: Rome (confirmed)
    July 18: Helsinki
    July 21 & 22: Gothenburg
    July 25: Oslo

in the good ol' days it was like that when all tours were announced ... today it all seems to be a little bit different.
  6. nope - just the ones local ticket sellers like eventim (ticketalarm fan-pre-sale) are doing
  7. Not himself, but his ticketing agencies still run them. At least here anyway
  8. Full River gig at a stadium? No thanks...
  9. I don't think these eventim pre-sales work any more. I know it used to be like that, that eventim and oeticket used to send e-mails with links a couple of hours in advance to those who registered for ticket alarm - I have bought a couple of tickets that way, but it hasn't happened for some time now (like 2 years or so). Now the ticketalarm only contains information about the regular start of the pre sale. Tomorrow they start selling Dave Gilmour tickets. I got the ticket alarm a couple of hours ago. It only says the pre-sale starts tomorrow at 10, which I have known for 2 days now, like anybody else who has looked at the eventim web page. So - to answer the question - no, Bruce doesn't do any pre-sales
  10. Hampden Park again then... Damn. If it's true of course. And it's badly timed for me. Play Edinburgh for once.
  11. Not impressed about The River album in Croke park. If you're not in the pit the likes of Stolen car & Wreck on the highway will be completely drowned out in chatter
  12. Dublin is confirmed on Bruce's site..May 27th Croke Park
