  2. I am really looking forward to (hopefully) seeing Bruce again, hoping to be able to get some tickets for Vienna or Berlin if he plays there, but the way this tour is / isn't announced gives me a headache. It is really turning into a treasure hunt where one has to spend much time and energy trying to get at least some information, which is in fact best for the scalpers, who make their living that way and are able to spend all the time they need on looking for information and participate in pre-sales any time a day without any notice, unlike us, who have to go to regular work. If the pre-sale starts at say Tuesday 10 am and I get to know it a couple of hours before, then it is most likely a no go for me, but all scalpers will surely get what they want. That doesn't sound like Bruce at all.

Like when I realised that there was not one, but two Dublin dates (luckily I wasn't going for those tickets). They were both sold out by the time I found out. And there was no mention of the second date at Bruce's site by that time. Instead we got an information that an autobiography would be published in September. Don't get me wrong, I am looking forward to reading it, but it is really not the news I need now. And I bet that all fans in Europe feel just the same right now.

I can understand that not all dates are settled and that something leaks now and then, but this? The whole American tour (except of some added dates) was announced at the beginning of December and it was also announced that tickets for all dates would go on sale in exactly one week. How come there is no announcement about Europe whatsoever and one has to have almost detective skills to be fast enough to get tickets? This is really just great for scalpers - with one or two dates a week they have all the time they need to get tickets for all the dates, which would be impossible, if they went on sale simultaneously. It is really the lamest date release I remember. I know I will forget it all once I (hopefully) get the tickets I want, but it has been a nightmare so far.

Again, I understand that there are probably some negotiations still going on, but this it really the worst possible setup for true fans and I think it is not too selfish to think that they should also be considered by the tour management.
  3. Totally agree, word by word. It's painful and actually better for scalpers. Damn.
  4. YAY!!!

  5. Tonight...the BOSS in Sunrise South Florida !!!!!!!
  6. Enjoy yourself Ed!

I'm terribly excited for this after missing Bruce in hist epic last visit to Madrid due to work, something I thought would never happen to me Luckily I have some holidays mid-May already booked so I'm DEFINITELY not missing this.

Unless Ticketbastard screws up big time
  7. Fantastic time last night .

Bruce walked on stage at exactly 8pm....said "good night Florida" at 1125...holy cow...no encore breaks , just straight through for over 3 hrs !

E Street Band sounded amazing..much better then my last show here in South Florida (04.29.14)

33 song set , shockingly , the South Florida crowd was very loud and fired up , no doubt due to the many a New York/ NJ transplants like myself . Whenever Bruce mentioned NJ , everyone went ballistic.......arena was jammed pact .

The River took just about 2 hrs to complete..Lil Steven , while not exactly on the same level as Nils (as far as guitar skills) , is such a pleasure to have on stage . He was absent at my last show 2 yrs ago ( as was Patti) , and it just didn't feel right . Last night he was in his usual form..cracking everyone up with his expressions that only he can do lol

The River : MEET ME IN THE CITY / THE TIES THAT BIND / SHERRY DARLING / JACKSON CAGE / TWO HEARTS - IT TAKES TWO / INDEPENDENCE DAY / HUNGRY HEART / OUT IN THE STREET / CRUSH ON YOU / YOU CAN LOOK (BUT YOU BETTER NOT TOUCH) / HERE SHE COMES - I WANNA MARRY YOU / THE RIVER / POINT BLANK / CADILLAC RANCH / I'M A ROCKER / FADE AWAY / STOLEN CAR / RAMROD / THE PRICE YOU PAY / DRIVE ALL NIGHT / WRECK ON THE HIGHWAY ...how Meet me in the City was left off the River is still a mystery to me..same goes for Roulette ...

standouts : the great Point Blank , the River , Out in The Street , Drive All Night ..just love that tune . Hungry Heart went over as it always does , amazing to see Bruce crowd surfing and having a blast still at age 65 !!

BADLANDS / WRECKING BALL / MY LOVE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN / BECAUSE THE NIGHT / BRILLIANT DISGUISE / THE RISING / THUNDER ROAD / BORN TO RUN / DANCING IN THE DARK / ROSALITA (COME OUT TONIGHT) / BOBBY JEAN / SHOUT

standouts : BADLANDS !!!!!! , My Love Will Not Let You Down , Because The Night and ROSALITA !!!!!

Bruce and the E Street Band...still amazing and blow away most bands half their age !!!
  8. Thanks for the review EDDMB, I am happy you had a blast. I am at the point where I almost lose interest in the tour, since I am tired of the constant searching through the net whether there was another date announced and whether it was not by any chance Vienna or Berlin and whether the pre-sale won't start in a couple of hours. I have spent hours and hours on that during the last weeks. For nothing. But then I read a review like that and it comes back to me what a feeling it is to be at a Bruce show and I know I MUST go.
  9. it's not one of the twelve labors of Hercules

  10. Great Ed
considering half their age is around 30-35 more than "most" i'd say every hehe
