1. Yeah! I saw it too. Nice vid and nice to see him in relative shape. I guess his main concern after the accident is holding and playing a heavy guitar for two hours, but I don't think he has much problem with doing specific movements as long as they don't last long.

  2. Yeah, might be true. I thought he couldn't move his fingers or something so this looked like a big progression haha. At least he looks fit and they are recording whohooo
  3. Glad to see he's able to move both hands/arms enough to do that haha, as long as he keeps it off stage
  4. Perhaps a new "40 style" song where Bono and Larry swap will be on SOE?

  5. Haha, imagine that. Larry on vocals, Bono playing drums, Edge providing some bass and Adam playing guitar.
  6. Reminds me of Edge playing the drums way back, Larry's face was a picture then. Would love to have seen his face with Bono behind the kit

  7. Larry's face while Bono was usurping his drums
    "Bono, GTFO!"

  8. Bono and edge behind the drumkit. Oh dear. Not good.

They literally work on the album until the 11th hour, so who knows. Hopefully the finishing touches are going on it and the album'll be out this year sometime.

Hopefully, yes - I was just re-reading the liner notes of SOI with Bono saying that SOE should be here "soon enough...although I know I've said that before." At least he admits that he's not very reliable when it comes to album release date predictions, but you would think that 2 years after SOI is plenty of time to get the "second half" out. I am cautiously optimistic, especially after Adam's comments.
  11. So I'm wondering if we'll see North Star, Glastonbury, and Mercy on this album (or even as B-sides). Personally, I don't think we'll see North Star or Glastonbury as those two songs essentially became two other songs released during the SOI cycle, but there may be hope for Mercy.

This thought comes after hearing Mercy on Wide Awake In Europe and falling in love with it again.
