  2. I've seen them twice now and got Plug In Baby and New Born at my first show. Was really hoping for the other three I mentioned in my previous post and Bliss would have been great to complete what I call the Origin of Symmetry trifecta. I did get Citizen Erased, however, so I shouldn't complain too much.

    Yes, the European setlists have improved slightly over the quite lame North American leg.

    Now let's hope someone has done some crappy recordings of these shows that we can enjoy with our untrained ears

    I haven't been paying attention to this tour, but it is criminal that they are leaving ANY of those songs out.

    Guess we know how some of the original U2 fans felt when ZooTV started

    Good point, although their best&most well known songs to date (Streets, Bad, Pride, New Year's Day, WOWY) etc were still regulars during Zoo TV. Muse have only kept their most known songs, but not the best. Undisclosed Desires or Madness as staples instead of Plug In Baby, Stockholm Syndrome or Map Of The Problematique is criminal as you said.

    You are a dying breed good sir. Stay within your right little circle of taper friends. I don't think the world will stop spinning when you and your lot keep your non crappy recordings out of circulation. You are more irrelevant now than ever with people seeking out the immediate hit of live streams. This is where it's at now and you just can't compete with it any longer. Enjoy your nights by the fire with your own taped shows. I hope itakes you all warm and fuzzy inside. The rest of us don't care.

    Many thanks for all you have brought to the table over the years but I'd surely rather do without it have you discourage anyone else trying to get into the game.

    Well, we had Plug in Baby on wednesday. Just like U2, they rotate the songs. And hé, taste is personal.

    I suppose at the start of the ZooTV tour (the first two legs, anyway) there was nothing played from Boy, Oct, or War. NYD eventually became a staple, SBS was rotated with Bad for a while, and IWF made a couple of appearances - but I think that was about it. If you were a fan of U2 starting in 1980, you might of been a bit miffed. Fortunately, Achtung Baby grew into the juggernaut that it did and we only look fondly on those times now - and so we should!

    I don't think Muse has had the "second coming" like U2 had and I don't think they are quite in the position to get rid of their early hits. Maybe they're trying but they're definitely not there yet.
