    They're not really american...but I get your point.
    We do have our own old (and I mean VERY OLD...from the Great Persia era) valentine-like day, it's in a few days from now...but not many Iranians know about it really.

    Indeed. I think there is a U2 day - and I declare it (because I can) to be held on September 25.

    Why then? Because that's when seven teenagers met in Larry Mullen's kitchen and called themselves "The Larry Mullen Band".

    That's why the 30th anniversary was so important - held on the Superbowl day where they performed with Green Day.
