    I knew that you were going to come up with something special when interpreting this song and I think that you are spot on. The more I think about this album the more I realise that all of the songs are relevant to the same theme.
    I would like to suggest that it may be a good idea to take one album at a time and stick with Pop for the next discussion. We don't have to talk about all of the songs, but if we leave it that, then we have missed the chance of seeing the picture of the album as a whole.
    What does everyone think?

    Thanks Lady G...it does look all similar to me, I mean, for me "If You Wear That Velvet Dress" is talking about the EXACT same issue as I said for Discotheque above, Wake Up Dead Man and If God Will Send His Angels also have religious stuff....

    I don't know about your suggestion...seems good to me, but others must have a word too. I'm very much interested in meaning of lyrics, so I'll play however you do it, but some others might get bored if we stick to one album.

  4. I understand that and I will go with the majority vote. But one of the reasons for discussing this album a a whole is to see why so many people (including me) would firstly dislike it and then once they 'get it' they begin to really love it.
    Do get me wrong I do not pretend to understand it fully but I'm interested in learning more from the comments of others.

    We're posting the new song tomorrow, so if anyone has anything else to add/discuss for Discotheque, now is the time.

    I suppose we're choosing a song from Pop again. Too late to do the voting thing...or is it? I don't know!
    I suggest we skip the voting for this week too (I actually forgot all about it!) and have Dan choose the next song (he was the third to reply to this topic, so I guess that's how we're doing it).

    I'm really ashamed, I wasn't able to put my thoughts together for this song as I promised I would!!
    I'm very sorry...
    A thousand times I sat this past week, started doing the review and ended up erasing every bit of it!!
    makes me fly away, and I get way off and start writing nonsense...
    that's why I haven't posted my review on Discotheque!!
