So it seems all members are in and out of the studio. Thus, these are not the final touches on SOE, otherwise Edge will be totally immersed in the process.
Seems that Edge has been occupied for a while, but then there has been more activity from him particularly the past week or two so it's possible that SOE is done, mixed, and final decisions, i.e. tracklisting, art etc., are the last few things left.
Maybe it's a little naïve of me, but I really do feel they are on the home stretch of this album. I'm pretty confident it'll be out in 2016, and I think there's a (small) chance it'll be out by late summer/early autumn rather than the tail end of the year. I think the band are up to something now... making plans for SOE's release and continuation of the tour, I would wager... Well, it's only waiting til Sunday to see if they'll give us any good news then... and besides, it'll be nice to see them all together at an event anyway.
This must be to announce Edge's new partnership with Ikea, leading into the release of his solo album "Edge of Experience." It'll feature commercials of Edge playing guitar while walking around Ikea.
