    ..and so you should be.

I want to "go dark" until the Toronto shows but that wouldn't allow me to get your (and Nick's and Jason's) feedback on everything. The stories you'll be sharing with us in a little over a week will be great.

The month of May still seems so far away!
  3. I was going through my numerous PJ boots today..(I have about 3 large boxes) and I slightly dropped one of my bootleg boxes , and this boot (with 2 others) fell out . I was going to toss it back in the box , as I was actually going for my 2000 boots , but I decided to glance at the setlist....man I remember Kieran was raving on about this gig couple years back.....and rightfully so...what an absolute monster of a gig.....

  4. I've never left a concert so speechless. We had a 20 minute walk back to the hotel and the only thing me and my friend said to each other was 'Brazil got thrashed 7-1 by Germany - wow'. It was a long time for me to grasp what I had witnessed: well over three hours of a band that completely disregarded the concept of a curfew to play 36 songs with several rarities lodged into the set. That concept alone put people off. There was apparently loads of people in the seating area leaving after the second encore started because they weren't playing the 'hits'; then they played 'Black', 'Jeremy', 'State of Love and Trust' and 'Baba O'Riley'. Then there was the one guy shouting out Ten songs throughout the gig while everyone gave him abuse for smoking. I remember that gig like it was yesterday – it is still to this day the best concert I have ever been to. I have the poster framed and I have the t shirt. Shows how much I love it.

I expect to be speechless multiple times this year. Great post.

Agree with Nick , great post....PJ definitely can have that affect on the concert goer... MSG N 2 2010 was pretty historic , but for me Milan 2000 was THE show ..it was like an out of body experience..just simply a magical night all around.......

Also the Garden 09.11.98 , Randalls N2 '96 and MSG N1 in 2003 , when the floor was literally shaking during the show have to get honorable mentions for me.......

    Brilliant!
I was never the same after Sept 11, 2011.
  8. I have a feeling one of the Wrigley shows might supersede Leeds, but I could be wrong. Leeds was intimate, felt like the band were playing to just you. It was so easy to get immersed in that gig even though you were surrounded by 12,000 people. Wrigley will be special for a number of reasons and I'm sure they'll play well into the night. We'll see. I'm going extremely excited for the Wrigley shows.
  9. I remember you raving about Leeds when you got out of the show, we all were excited for you too. It's sure an incredible setlist, one of their longest ever if I'm not wrong, and with enough rarities and hits to keep everyone entertained (so sad that some seated pricks left due to the lack of hits).
  10. and MichaelMcFuckinCready turns his 50

  11. Ten turns 25 in August , when I also officially join Mike in what my wife calls "the old geezer club"

So for half my life , I have been listening to one of the greatest debut albums (and bands) of all time...I'll take it ....

By the way.....opening night is 3 days away !!!!!!
  12. Not too long now..........
