Nice review Ed, glad you had a blast both nights. I never guessed a Pink Floyd cover would be the highlight of the show for you!
I know..but it was amazing.....Mike nailed the solo....Mr Gilmour himself would have been impressed lol
  2. top highlight of this start of the tour

Haha! Seriously Ed! Save You is wayyyy better than Pilate. Anyone who ever knew an addict could tell you the lyrics to Save You are amazing. Plus it's a rocking song. One of the few highlights of Riot Act.

Since Im heading up to Tampa tomorrow , I thought I'd dust off this old classic..really solid show....very solid actually. The band sound amazing here and I highly recommend this gig...The performance is extra gritty and aggressive, and the sound quality is bright, crisp, and clean (except for a recording error during "Last Exit" which causes this song to be placed at the end of the bootleg where it doesn't belong). The set list is full of surprises, with many songs that appear very rarely elsewhere in the series....

This show contains the tour's first attempt at the opening combo of Pink Floyd's Interstellar Overdrive, which then segues directly into Corduroy. Garden makes its one and only American appearance here, and the band gives the best rendition of this track yet - far better than most of the European versions, in which they didn't bother to play the song's powerful finale.

One of my personal favorites, Tremor Christ appears for the first time in the tour. I loved it last night in Miami .

Encore 1 is just brilliant...HAIL HAIL !? Immortality? ...awesome ...

Nick I mentioned to you earlier.....Garden NEEDS to get back in the encore forthwith and here it is....maybe some karma for tomorrow ?????????

The band leave the stage after Indifference..the show is thought to be over , but no.....they come back for yet a 3rd encore...RITFW..
Dude can you imagine them opening up with Garden at MSG!!
  5. That would be pretty cool. I'm surprised they've never done it - at any "Garden" as far as I know.
  6. So just another "ho-hum" night for Ed at a Pearl Jam concert.

I get it. My nights will come - but this is getting ridiculous!
  7. What a start. Seriously, this band is just....wow

  9. In the Moonlight???? WTF?!?!
  10. Really fun night and great stay here in the Port of Tampa . I strongly advise anyone who is thinking of seeing show or hockey game in this arena to go . Just beautiful. Numerous hotels in the area . My hotel was literally across the street from the venue. I was ordering a Cigar City Ale at the outside hotel bar no less then 10 min after the gig .

That being said , the show was very good , but the band seemed off . Numerous mistakes by my man Stone . The band were definitely in a loose mood as were the crowd . Talk about a night and day difference between Miami's audience and Tampa .

It was as if all 18000 ( not sure of the exact number but the building was jam packed) lit up a joint or 3 before the show lol

Main set was uneven , but enjoyable . Ed did a fine job playing songs to fit the mood . Though I think Comfortably numb would have fit the vibe better last night instead of Miami .

Why Go was amazing and Animal finally makes an appearance and is a top 3 song for me .

Red Mosquito and HTI are in my 10 as well so yes I was very pumped .

Getaway was a fine mess . Ed kept looking over at Stone who was laughing at his mistakes and this seemed to make Ed even more pissed . He tossed his towel on the stage after shaking his head I still enjoyed it . Maybe Stone was stoned ?

In the Moonlight was cool , for me only as the audience seemed lost during it , but I can't say I blame them . The show needed a classic right there . Not some odd off the wall tune

Jeremy Evolution and BLOOD were amazing , and needed . Somehow the crowd were still on the set of the Walking Dead .

I mean , if Blood doesn't get you amped up what will ?? I don't know what to say really

Encore 1 was odd , but fit the chilled zombie like mood . I love a Pendulum in that spot and Off He Goes was beautiful. Come Back was a drag . It was funny though , as everyone was literally running for the bathroom , and it was as if Ed was asking them to come back lol

Lukin is always a welcomed beast and Porch was brilliant

Encore 2 was really good , but mistakes were still all around

Ed flubbed BM a bunch and afterwards He smashed his Gibson SG to bits , followed by smashing his mic on the already smashed Gibson
I know he does this at times but he was pissed off . He hit it like 10 times . Maybe Ed was imagining it was Stone ?

The sloppiness continued during Alive , as Stone somehow flubbed the intro . Strange as the band (stone) should be able to play that song in their sleep .

During Baba the house lights went on . Ed said goodnight and stone waved and left the stage .
Mike refused to leave . Maybe he felt we deserved another , as the band were so off on this night ?

He started playing bits of Yellow Led , then quickly moved to Little Wing

Stone walked back out with Ed and the band played a great full version of the song

Great night . Solid gig . Uneven and a bit sloppy yes , but a solid show nonetheless . Great poster as well lol

Love this area . I will be back to the Port of Tampa soon .
  11. 3 shows and no YL to close. Kinda odd
