1. something like this, you mean?

  2. So , I wen't on an epic rollercoaster ride yesterday concerning NGHFB .

    Long story :

So I saw Noels performance in London with u2 and it clicked with me that i just had to see this guy live. Hi's voice is off the hook.

so I was in doubt for a couple of weeks, and someone on Tumblr said , just GO. you can join us if you wan't.
so me being in the middle of furnishing my new apartment, working in a new environment, after a 6 day workweek, traveled to Amsterdam in the morning to join in on the fun.

Our little group lined up all day and the lovely people knew all about Noel and his band. I joined them visiting the artists entrance and BAM! there was Noel. He was genuinely awesome, and funny - Noel style.

I told him i was looking forward to the gig as it was gonna be my first one, and he joked " Better not be a shite one then! "

Very nice setlist, with one more song than usual, engaging with the crowd and again, voice top notch.

Then right before he starts playing If I Had a gun, he just points at me , and starts talking about that it was my first gig and he asked how it was , lol.
So totally dumbstruckas I am, just give him the perfectomundo sign and gesturing that i had goosebumps all over (which I honestly already had).

And he was chuffed , and then told me he dedicated his next song - If I had a gun - to me. Which was beautiful ugh..
WTF super bizarre and surreal moment..
I actually teared up for a bit there (#emotional girly stuff)

At the end of the song he points / at me one more time and all i could say was thankyou.

So ... Where can I get my life long fan card?

  3. Great story Joyce! Noel seems like a great guy.
  4. All credit also to the friends who dragged me over to the dark side. thanks to them I was there and had a chance to actually speak to him. so credit is where credits due. T'was n amazing day.

Had a very short night and had to get up for work early, but thanks to this I had no reason to be grumpy or tired.
  5. wow, great stuff, joyce I guess I wouldn't have expected him to do that, which makes this story even more amazing. guess that's one way to win a fan for life, eh? I was quite unlucky that he didn't come out in cologne, but maybe next time!
  6. That's such a cool story!
  7. Well done.

I've been a fan of NG/Oasis for over 20 years, however, and don't have a story that remotely touches this one.
  8. Holy shit, that is genuinely awesome Joyce Congrats on suchhhh a special moment!!
    And God Bless Noel
  9. Great story Joyce! Attended his show in Amsterdam on Monday. Loved it! Great tunes and a great band.

Yaah, I consider myself extremely extremely lucky to be in the right place, at the right time, and saying the right thing maybe? I could've said nothing, or something different which wouldn't even bother him but he seemed to care I was there for the first time, (coulv'e also asked me "What took ye so fooking long!" )

I really hope you get to meet him too Flowerchild. Maybe come to Amsterdam next time, the HMH is very laidback security wise. And its easy to try and meet artists there since they removed most of the fencing years ago.

Noel's an absolute champ. Thats for sure. He was not just cool for me but for many many other people that day. Rummy I feel unworthy!
Thats a long record. I'm barely 23, so I can't even imagine. I wish every fan the same.

Good tunes and a great band indeed. Its been a while since I've seen such a solid band.
  11. I love this move.

  12. Hmm... Noel is playing around 30 miles from me in September and tickets are £35. Tempting.
