Additional thought: Even more puzzling that Binaural was "Let Me Sleep (It's Christmas TIme)" in May. EV mentioned something about the snow in Canada.
How was the crowd during Binaural? For me the best part about Ten was the crowd was ballistic straight through,

  2. Mixed as usual..."too many hits" bla bla bla...here is a quote that Im even shocked with ..and Im set list diva lol...

"First set was amazing but let's be honest; take out the covers and the last 2 sets are horrible. Given to fly Black Alive Small town Blah blah blah And Corduroy again. Yeah?!"

I mean really ? This "fan" is complaining about hearing GTF Corduroy Alive Small Town and Black ? I can see being put off if it was N2 and all were repeats ( as I was , except Black of course) , but N1 ??

Must have been cool to hear Binaural in full...

I wonder why PJ wasn't played for its 10 year anniversary ? I think that would have been for one of the MSG gig....

I cant stand those forums. Seriously. So annoying.

I think PJ wasnt played in full on its anniversary BECAUSE it was the anniversary. They seem to prefer to do this stuff randomly. Binaural is def not my cup of tea but I would of been honored to be there and enjoyed the shit out of it..
  4. To be honest, not so good. There wasn't any booing or anything - "tolerant" would be the word I should use - but there are a lot of "casuals" at a Toronto show so they were really into too many of the songs.

I took my neighbour to the show (our kids play together) and he wasn't that thrilled with 13 Binaural songs - he was more excited by the "war horses."
  5. I'm doing my best not to "song hunt" but I have never witnessed STBC (or Why Go) and haven't heard Animal, Jeremy, Hail Hail, and YLB (!) since 1998 so I wouldn't mind getting these often-played songs tomorrow.

We'll see....unless its Vitalogy (or Ten or Vs, of course) I hope they don't play another full album tomorrow.

Jeeez...If I were to complain (which I won't) I'd be ticked about the covers - not the hits!

If you (not you Ed, but some random PJ fan) are sick of the hits and are searching for that "white whale" (songs like Let Me Sleep or Hitchhiker) I think it might be best you sit a tour or two out.

Absolutely!!!! I remember people complaining about Philly 1 that they scratched Strangest Tribe and played Chloe/Criwn instead. What!!!!!!! Some of these fans just wanna scratch songs off their list. Ridiculous. Songs like GTF, Corduroy bring the fucking house down. Jeremy KILLS the crowd dude. To each their own I guess.

Figured this. But good for PJ. They must know it's one of their least popular album and they still did it which shows that they still have a certain attitude about their live shows.

Night 2 will perfectly compliment night one just like philly. Philly 1 was filled with rarities and night 2 brought the house down. Same with Toronto I'm sure.

It'll be great, regardless but man, am I glad I get an evening off. I know I have a little more than a decade on you Nick but I can't fathom how you did four shows in five nights. Heck, I shouldn't use my age as an excuse since Ed has done the same in the past if I recall correctly.

Haha. It was rough. Philly 2 completely finished me off. Screaming every word to all of ten was exhausting. And i shouldn't have went for GA for my last show. Next time I'll try for it on the first show. Plus work after EVERY show was just insane. BUT it was worth all the pain and I'd do it again lol. But it was definitely rough on my body.
