1. I mean in previous years/decades, Matt. I'm well aware of this year's sets

I was happy I was at Toronto 2 and missed the Binaural album. Not too familiar with that one!

You're lucky. It's not one of my favs but anytime they play an album in full it's a privilege to witness. Plus songs like Rival, parting ways, of the girl, nais don't get played often , if ever...
  4. Plans have changed. My wife and I are obsessive and will be attending Fenway 1 as well. And I absolutely must work the next day. So i should be back in Brooklyn by 4AM and have to get to work at 7 AM. Should be fun but I'm sure it'll be worth it. I can't let "sleep" make me miss a show.

I will appreciate this more as time goes by...it was pretty cool but not having a good chunk of the crowd into it (including my concert-partner) hurt the experience. Still, lots of great tunes on that album that I'll probably never hear again. I just can't help but imagine the "singalong" that went along with the full playing of Vs. and Ten. That would have been fantastic.

So now you two are going to both? Of course you are!

  7. I like how you used the word "obsessive," Nick....I can relate....unfortunately it leads to my issue of song hunting. Mind you, I'll never get to the point of looking for Fatal or Dirty Frank but I'd like to complete Ten and Vs (and hear STBC and In My Tree) before they/I hang it up.

10 in full was something I'll never forget. I can't say fir sure because I wasn't at every show, but I can't imagine the emotion being matched at any other show. It was absolutely amazing.
  9. I'm a proud husband today, my wife truly was the one who pushed for it. I didn't resist much , obviously, but she kinda called me out on the "sleep" excuse.

Ha...my wife (well, family) is the reason I will not be attending anymore shows in 2016. It's not that she overtly says "do not go" but I she's certainly not the partner is crime that you have, Nick. You really should be a proud Pearl Jam fan/husband.

As for me, it really is just too far (and, in the end, expensive) to justify taking off for three or four days to see a couple of concerts that are already sold out. It breaks my heart but I really need a better GTA support system for me to take this experience to the next level.

Couldn't one of you guys move to Toronto????

The only way we're moving is to warmer climate! Lol. Trust me dude, up until 2014 my wife thought I was nuts and always gave me a slight problem when I was going to multiple shows. "I don't understand why you have to go to the same show night after night ... Blah blah blah ". In Detroit, it finally made sense to her and she was completely onboard. Now she's almost as bad as me if not slightly worse. Last night she wanted to watch a movie, which sometimes takes longer to PICK than actually watch. I said what do you want to watch? She said "that pearl jam documentary".
