1. Found in a my old cd (and all videos from 23-10-2000 show)

    PS: use a mobile device
  2. Love the song, it will be a good song for the next tour leg.
  3. probably in my top 25
  4. This is in my top 15. Lovely song and Roy Orbison makes it even better.
  5. "Oh sh** on the BBC... Dublin Boys in town... with a JCB!" classic stuff!

They started that session at about 10.30am or something and it was broadcast live on Simon Mayo's programme then into Jo Whileys programme iirc. Not the first or last time Bono will drop an expletive on a live pre-watershed broadcast I'm sure, but always makes me chuckle when he does, especially when its the Beeb. So jealous of the few fans that got into see them do those few songs.

Back to 'She's A Mystery To Me'... stunning song, so glad we have the R&H outtakes version from Sun Studios, as that is easily my personal favourite version of it with the backing singers - the whole vibe of it is ethereal. I think that version could have been the demo passed to Roy Orbison perhaps.
  6. If I remember correctly, this is one of the U2 songs that journalist Michka Assayas (who wrote the book of interviews with Bono) said that he played for people first who said they didn't "get" U2. Me, too! I love listening to the Point Depot version with BB King and the band.
