1. I don't wear earplugs myself, but I don't go to many concerts. I've never really had any issues apart from Wembley '09 when the sound was reverberating around the upper tier. I thought the ieTour was excellent, I had no ringing in my ears afterwards.
  2. Never wore earplugs to gigs and I go to quite a bit. I'm heading for tinnitus regardless.
  3. Exactly the same here.

I sometimes experience a little buzz/shrillness when I scream loudly at a concert, like my eardrums are saturated both from the outside sound plus the sound of my own scream. Other than that, never experienced ear pain or ringing during/after a show.

I never do, but I can tell you now that I'm middle aged, I can see it starting to take its toll. I always loved it loud, now I'm finding that I need loud to be even louder.

    Pardon?

I have those musician style ear plugs, like Alvin posted. They lower the volume but the music sounds the same. Although for London 4 I only wore them for a few songs.

I haven't had any ringing in my ears after any loud event though, 2 F1 races (1 race and 1 full weekend) and multiple airshows.

Only weird thing about these earplugs is, that you can hear yourself "singing" :-) I had to get used to it, because it sounds really weird. But it's great - reduced noise and clear sound.

Yeah, that's why I took them out. It's really weird.
  9. I never used earplugs. Used to be quite a concert visitor. Now i only go when i really want to see someone.

Only ringing if I go to a punk/metal gig, or something like that. I experienced it after My Bloody Valentine and they're one of the loudest live bands out there. But it's rare.

You went to see MBV? Oh man. Their 'Holocaust' section sounds nuts.
