  2. Sounds great but I'll eat an Achtung Baby vinyl if we hear anything close to that on the album. They will soften up all that raw greatness in post.

    Still saying September for release. If they are into the mixing stage right now, that would make sense.

    Then again, SOI was apparently finished like a week before it hit iTunes so... who knows.

    This is my thought exactly... All I get from this and the note is that they're seriously working on SOE - and that's fantastic for me!! With the whole NLOTH to Songs of Ascent history, I thought they would scrap the whole two album idea...this is great!

    (and yes, I'm hyped enough to be back here posting after months!!)
  8. I think the big difference between what we have now and what we've seen before is that now we're actually getting little snippets of their actual process. I remember back when SOI was to be released I had no idea the apple event was going to lead to a new album. I thought it would be something like Invisible with no news to follow for a while.
