1. Sounds like bono's dying on No Line on the Horizon

Yeah, it seems like whatever emotion it is he's got there, it's intense. Even for the poor quality of the clips, you can really hear that Bono's voice is ridiculously strong.

Oh my God, this is so promising.

  3. I can make out the lyric "no line," so I'm guessing this is No Line on the Horizon.

It sounds like a darker version of Mysterious Ways. It's much, much better than Window in the Skies or the All My Life beach clip. This is dirty and grooving. Less of a pure rock sound, more melodic and dense.

Holy shit. I love it. Absolutely love it.

    What do you guys think??

Listen to it about 15 times in a row--you'll start to hear more!

Around 0:30: beautiful transition between notes from Bono
Around 0:40 and 1:35ish: "No liiiiiiinne..."
Around 1:38: "I am coming to the surface of your love"
    Around 1:45: hard guitar sounds
Around 2:00: the closest thing to "Morroccan influences" heard yet
Around 2:10: melodic guitar sounds--sounds like the bridge of the song
Around 2:55: chant-like final vocals from Bono, sounding something like "Hurry, hurry"

I couldn't hear the drum or bass lines very well, but the tempo is midway between fast and slow--like the tempo of "Stay" but a bit quicker, and much more flowing.

How did you get your hands on it? It sounds like it was taped from outside the studio

it is indeed, and will remain so til we get a new single!

Yeah, it was shared over around Interference. God bless those true U2-obssessors, and God bless the tapers.

Any thoughts on the song itself? Think this is good enough to make an accurrate judgment of what's to come for the album?
