    There is a smasher in Belfast with a huge screen but it has been undergoing 'refurbishment' for 6 months now. The thing was only 3 years old!! So now there is only one cinema showing it in Northern Ireland and thats the one i'm gonna try on Friday.

    Bloody hell. It had better be something spectacular when it does re-open again.

    I guess there's a chance they'll show it then anyway - IMAX seems to keep hold of its films for ages and keeps re-showing them.

    that is very true. I was in it once before and it has a truly massive screen

    Great review, Dan.

    It wasn't the fades between songs that annoyed me. In fact, I totally agree with you: it was about as good as you could do, given the songs they chose. My problem was with the crossfades constantly going on in the middle of the songs. Oh well. Still, you're dead on when you say every band will do their own 3-D concert films now. U2 3D is groundbreaking. (oh, and I plan to see it again for a third time this week!)

    4 images on screen at once in 3D made me dizzy. I was shaking for most of it though. I'll try and be less critical when I see it again on friday

    The 3D in general made me fell a little vertiginous at times! I had a pretty quiet crowd, otherwise I swear I'd have been up on my feet several times. That sea of bodies during Streets - omg....

    I still don't think the 3D has been 100% perfected but it was so lifelike at times. During one of the GA shots a girl in front of me stood up to make her way to the toilet and I didn't even notice!!

    LOL!

    I loved the shot where you could see people taking photo's on their cameras and you could even see the screen. Same with the mobiles.
