1. it is with sadness that I put forth information to the U2 start community that a great friend and U2 fan, Ernesto Rizzi suddenly passed away yesterday morning (July 19th). Ernesto was an owner of a food truck in the Edmonton Alberta area and was regular GA'er, at all the U2 concert shows in western Canada over the tours of Vertigo, 360 and I&E. I don't know Ernesto's exact age...but I believe he was only in his mid 30's!

    My greatest memory of Ernesto is on the morning of June 1, 2011, the U2360 show here in Edmonton, Ernesto and I went down to the local bakery and purchased 100 donuts for the first 100 people that were in line!! ~RIP my friend.

    Ernesto was 37 years old and he was one of my closest friends. A pure soul with a great heart! I'm glad that you got to hear one of U2's new songs from the upcoming album from me, you were such a huge U2 fan. R.I.P. my dear friend, you'll be missed dearly
