Joshua Tree Tour 2017
Legs (3): Leg 1 - North America, Leg 2 - Europe, Leg 3 - The Americas
Shows: 52
  1. There are these other rumors about the tour starting in the US, I seem to remember (could be pure speculation)
  2. I think it's just 2 different things:

    1) their live activity (maybe not tour as such) restarting in the US next September - which is partly confirmed with the Salesforce and iHeart shows.

    2) the proper tour starting in South America next March, in stadiums (so probably a different tour to what we've seen already, hence the stadium being booked for 15 days, stage setup, etc).

I think you're right. Except I think the Sept-Oct dates will be for album launch. Then there will be the customary promo tour, March south america... 25 days for set up, fine tuning and test run...

Then again... how reliable is that source???
  5. This is just a Facebook event. Reliability close to 0'00%. But it's just another hint in the same direction to previous rumours, and coming from a event and ticketing agency, I guess they must have heard something reliable.
  6. I think odds of fall for album, spring for tour are looking better

which city in south america would that be? (sorry if this was mentioned earlier and I missed it!)
  8. The event posted above is focused in La Plata (~Buenos Aires) where they have supposedly booked the stadium for 2 weeks.
  9. please this have to be true
  10. Do you reckon it'll be like Zooropa on Zoo Tv where they'll play the same setlist as before but add some new tracks to it,or is it gonna be a whole new show???

I'd love to see the same show with some new songs thrown in, partially because I loved seeing the I & E tour last year so much and would love to see it again and also for the fans in cities that U2 did not go to to get to see the show.

Makes sense that it would be similar, at least, due to them calling it "Innocence and Experience" right from the start...?
