  1. I almost had a heart attack when I saw someone selling one of these online. Rex (RIP) was an amazing artist and a good friend. We saw a lot of Bowie shows together and he did a couple of Bowie's album covers [Earthling, Hours, Reality] -- he also did AMAZING posters for Bill Graham presents. I have tons of his work that he gave me, and am forever grateful. He passed from cancer last year. This is one of my favorite poster pieces he ever did and its on its way -- SO GRATEFUL.

    If you don't know of Rex or his work -- google Rex Ray concert posters. He was also an amazing fine artist as well, but I guarantee you'll find something you love.

  3. Thank you! It's VERY 90s and VERY Rex -- and yeh the topper is that it was for PopMart. I saw these shows right after I first arrived in California and, once again, ended up following the tour a bit more than originally intended. BOOM CHA.

    Rex has been a huge influence on me as a designer -- did a bit of production work for him back in the day too. Miss him.
