A setlist of 20 or 25 deep cuts would be amazing but it CERTAINLY would be a terrible decision for anything other than a couple of special shows.
I merely meant that these are the only songs that I feel absolutely CANNOT miss a tour concert right now. If there's a couple of shows here and there without Pride or Sunday Bloody Sunday or One or whatever, that'd be ok. I feel that those three are the songs that right now absolutely have to make an appearance in any major set for it to make much sense.

See... having seen songs like I threw A Brick, Surrender and Wire live, I might argue that those should be permanent fixtures. And I'd take COBL over Vertigo hands down anytime...
And RattleandHum1988 makes valid points... While I'd have no problem with Pride being retired, it's a part of their legacy, and the big anthems, as he said, are a part of their live culture. And while I would relish a set of 20 deep cuts, I'd be a very small minority of the ticket buying public... In fact, I'd love for them to revisit the 2 show per city, different set concept... 1 night hits, 1 night deep cuts... I know where I'd be leaning and where the tickets would be easier to get!

My buddy chatted with Dallas last night after #U2 rehearsed and mentioned,”they practiced the new songs but can't get it together.” #U240
