It reminds me of the rehearsals during 360 when they were trying to figure out Trying To Throw Your Arms. If you listen, the problem is that they keep starting off time with the loop they're playing to, but that's like the only thing wrong with what they're doing. Instead of figuring that out they just say "fuck it, never mind" and forget about it. It's really a shame.

No I was too young for that as I was only 10. But I just can imaging a time when u2 were huge just off the success of the 80s and then they dismissed that success and blew it up with 8 brand new never before heard songs
