    Pretty much the same thing happened to me too a couple of years back. We were sleeping upstairs at the time. It sucks, but as the other guys have said, try to remember that even though they mean a lot they are only things and the main thing is that you and your family are safe.

    Oh yeh, absolutely. Didn't come upstairs. Just got some old Playstation games and a couple of watches. Oh, and my wife's car!!!

    Always nasty to hear...I luckily never experienced it, but to know that some strange folks have been in your house while you were on holidays is jsut freaky...and the fact that they stole some stuff is even worse. Good luck to cope with it...

    I'm surprised to think nobody noticed a whole window ripped out (unless it was around the back), but why they do it - it's low.
