This might well be the truest thing you've written in your whole life, Glenn.

Streets just fits as an opener... The red backdrop with silhouettes of the band coming out to the intro and then kicking in... Goose bumps from the get-go.

What's everyone's stance on Bono changing lyrics to old songs? I tend to hate them lol. Here are my most hated examples:
-The Fly - changing "One man's lie" to "One man's porky pie"??? What the hell?
-Streets - changing "I want to take shelter from the poison rain" to "see through the eye, of a hurricane" - I mean, it's not BAD, but why?
-Iris - changing "Took a thousand years to get here", to "took a thousand years to get TO here" - which just sounds bad IMO
And there are even some vocal/rhythmic things he does that have always boggled me:
-Real Thing - On the ZooTV tour, and I think subsequent tours (would have to check), instead of singing "Even better than the real thing" like rhythmically in time with the song, he would start the phrasing a half step early, or after, and just put the phrase into what sounds more like talking than being musical. It's hard to explain. He does a similar thing with the chorus of COBL.
There are a ton of other examples, but these have always bugged meWhat about you guys?
