    Sounds absolutely nifty.

He has another amazing RTSS improv with shimmer, and I understand him - it's one of my favorites to play when I pick up the Strat.
  2. There you can see his problem with tempo

  3. Saw a U2 tribute band this past weekend - "L.A. Vation" from Los Angeles. Apart from the unfortunate, cheesy name, they were fantastic. They had the tone and style down musically and their stage presence and mannerisms (especially "Bono" and "Edge") were impressive in how accurate they were. I laughed a few times as I recalled moments from seeing U2 live that this band emulated so well.

Highlights: "Shine Like Stars" snippet at the end of WOWY and "Hear Us Coming Lord" snippet at the end of One.

Only drawback was they played mostly hits, no obscure renditions thrown in to impress any potential diehard fans in the audience. Nothing recent from SOI (or Pop... )

Setlist (roughly in order from what I recall): It was a fun night!

    1. Elevation
    2. Beautiful Day
    3. I Will Follow
    4. Sunday Bloody Sunday
    5. WOWY
    6. Sweetest Thing
    7. UTEOTW
    8. I Still Haven't Found
    9. Mysterious Ways
    10. One
    11. MLK
    12. Walk On
    13. Vertigo
    14. Bad
    15. Streets

    16. (Encore): Pride

The low resolution photo make them look an awful lot like U2, specially Edge and Bono. It could pass as a true U2 photo!

Very standard, hit-oriented setlist... But I heard they're very good. Glad you had a good time!!
  5. This poor guy dropped by one of my U2 cover videos and started insulting me

Almost Better Than The Real Thing... NOT QUITE

  6. That's... discordant.
  7. Baffling.
