  1. I like how the lyrics to I Fall Down got more coherent over time. The album version feels very unfinished, but live performances (here I'm thinking specifically of 1982-12-06 because it's the one I'm most familiar with) have a quite different set of words. I can't actually think of what they are because it's too early and I can't be arsed to check, but they are better.

  6. Yeah, but I feel like whatever he was yelling about will never be known. Some say Larry ended the song before Edge wanted to, some say he was playing hard to get in the way of Edge's """""solo"""", but who knows.
  7. I think Edge is saying "it's ME, it's ME who decides when to end this song" due to the gestures and the already known story of ending the song too soon.

  10. The Nobel Prizes will be awarded next week. I like to follow the science and literary prizes (expect the Physics prize to be awarded to the discovery of gravitational waves) and it always makes me think whether Bono will receive the award some day (not that it matters, to me or him or anyone else).
    So my question to you is: do you see Bono winning this in the future? Now, I'm not saying he deserves the prize. In my opinion, as valuable and transcendental Bono's humanitarian work has been, the prize should go to people that put their lives in danger to achieve peace in a region. I'm talking about people facing the worst regimes, dictatorships, fatwas, etc. Still, we know Oslo likes to give the prize to prominent figures. I mean, they gave the prize to Al Gore for a freaking documentary.
    So, what do you think? Is Bono a possible winner, based on the academy's preferences?
