    Smoke and mirrors?
  2. Pretty damn pumped to hear dat best thing!
  3. Predicting another "Desire" to open - they're going to take full advantage of how cool that is during election season, since it won't be relevant after November.

    That sounds dead-on to me.

I'm hopeful for some new material yet...
  5. Yeah that energetic Desire is awesome, keep that energy band !
Would be cool to hear a new song. Fingers crossed.

Yes they did, and they couldn't get it right indeed.

I wonder if they really will soundcheck this new stuff in a public space though. Imagine that by tomorrow we'll know 3 or 4 new U2 songs

Bono blasts it out of his house so anything could happen.

Would be cool... will it be dress rehearsal for whole show?
  8. yeah, but the passers-by at his beach house are much more random. it would be nice to hear a few new songs, but in a wide open public space, I don't see it happening. Maybe "You're The Best Thing" since it's already out there, but I can't see them letting a handful of new songs leak so far ahead of the release...
  9. No new songs for this show folks, just enjoy the concert.
  10. At least that's what I think. I hope I'm wrong.
  11. i tend to agree with you. I'm moreso curious if they'll keep any of the SOI songs in a longer set. It'll be a good indicator of what they plan to keep around for the next tour.

I would think EBW will stick around, but it was such a pivotal point of the Innocence Tour that they might want to replace it with a newer song as a focal point.

Other than that, I can't really see anything other than Iris sticking around, to be honest. Maybe Cedarwood if they're going to keep the screen gimmick. No way that song makes it into a set without the choreography.
