I think the issues are a part of what U2 is and I'm all for it, but I must be the only one who feels the Trump spiel during Bullet went on way too long and diminished the music a bit.     I understand your point, I really do. But I think they had to go this way cause they only had 2 chances to make their point, as they're not on tour.

    I get that too. That woulda been my beer and piss break during show. And I've never said/done that before in my 36 years of attending shows....
  3. I loved it. Scary election for not only the United States but the entire world. You would expect Bono to be vocal against Trump. The US has donated many a $$$ to some initiatives that Bono is involved with and you would have to think that funding and $$$$ would be stopped if Trump was in office.

You mean the guy who didn't know what Aleppo is, the guy who couldn't name a world leader, the guy who will let the sick people pay in full for everything, the guy who said that global warming is irrelevant because the sun will consume us first, the guy that said that he couldn't invade a country because he cannot find it in a map, the guy whose VP choice said Hillary is the most capable candidate in history?

  8. I think we all have to be scared, who ever will be elected. Of course, it will be Hillary. But we all know, she's just the minor evil.
  9. People saying that Hillary is somehow the most evil woman on the planet and the only point they bring up are the emails. It was a valid point several months ago, but when somebody brings it up now, I can't help but say "is that all?" I mean, you would expect the female embodiment of evil to have a longer rap sheet than just deleted emails.

We have Clinton, who is apparently the most evil woman in the world solely because of deleted emails, Trump, who has drawn criticism for spewing hate every time he opens his mouth, and two third-party candidates that have marketed themselves as being "not Trump or Clinton." Speaking on those third-party candidates, both of them are political vultures. They both like to mouth on about how they are "not like the others" but when put under actual scrutiny the two of them have been found to be incredibly inexperienced and borderline incompetent.

    You want Gary Johnson to debate? That sounds like a good idea, except it's against the law to show humiliation porn on national television. His responses to casual interview questions should make it blatantly clear that it would be a terrible idea for Gary Johnson to participate in a debate.
  11. I'm not going to debate you. You vote your way and I'll vote mine and we'll all (well, I'll) sleep with my clean conscience. You should be happy I'm "throwing my vote away" or "taking a vote away from Trump" as I've heard repetitively. I cannot give either of these two assclowns my vote, so I'll give it to the 3rd clown. In all my years of voting I have never had the dilemma I do now. And I'm not a party player. I've always voted whoever I thought best option would be. And to me, this year, there isnt one. Result, we'll have another status quo party player in the White House, the sun will still come up every day, I'll get on with my life and be hopeful that in 4 years someone worthwhile comes into the picture... Although if your queen is elected, it"ll be 8. I hope and pray she is everything she has you believing she is. I really do. I pray it. So there you go... patronize me, if you will. Call me an idiot. Wouldnt be the first time. Wont be the last. I've got a thick skin. And in the end, as always, I'll respect my fellow Americans choice and do my best to support and respect the CIC. And I'll bow out with that.

    And why not give Johnson the opportunity (or Stein) the opportunity in a debate anyway? I mean he's a joke. What's there to fear?

  12. Statistically and ideologically speaking, voting 3rd party is equivalent to voting for Trump. Both 3rd party candidates are much more similar to Clinton than Trump in terms of political ideology. Because of this, Trump supporters are unlikely to leave Trump and vote 3rd party and 3rd party supporters are unlikely to vote for Trump. However, it's much more likely for 3rd party supporters to vote for Clinton, so votes for a 3rd party candidate take away from Clinton's voter base while Trump's remains the same. As a result, Trump retains a larger relative percentage of the total vote, a scenario that could be avoided if 3rd party supporters engaged in the practice of common sense and voted for Clinton.

    So by all means, vote 3rd party if it helps to easy your conscience. But do recognize that if Trump becomes President, you don't get to sit out and say "well I voted 3rd party, not my fault." On the contrary. If Trump becomes President 3rd party voters will and should bear the brunt of the blame. Also, you should be prepared to explain to people why your conscience was worth letting Trump take away health insurance from thousands, give big businesses massive tax breaks, dismantle all environmental protective policies, and decimate any positive foreign relations we had.
